Hey changemaker,

Sometimes it's hard to say if you need support as a maker or creative - afterall, that is still a core part of who you are and what you do. You started in this for the joy of the craft and may have found you missed your own creating and making over the years as you spent more time managing teams, teaching and mentoring others, marketing your skills, and maintaining systems. It's a lot.

And you may at times want more support for one role than another. Some seasons, Founder-you needs more support. Because transitioning into being responsible for these fellow creatives and other team members, for paying payroll, and running a company is challenging. And sometimes you still find yourself surprised that you have come this far and have developed so much.

Sometimes your questions are about mentorship, passing information and insights to people in a place on their journey that you remember all too well.

And sometimes you wonder what comes next? 

The "menu cards" I made for Creatives, Teachers and Founders is just to get people thinking and imagining.

Not everyone realizes just how helpful psychology can be in settings and roles like yours. Heck, I myself didn't realize it until more recently. I was helping one creative after the next in the therapy context, and one after the next kept saying they wished they had this sort of support sooner in their work. They came for deep personal work and also ended up finding value in the many resources and supports I had for their work, teams, creativity, and transitions.

Even as a person in love with humanity and creativity, and obsessed with all of the ways psychology can make our lives and work better, it took me years to realize we needed Beneath the Making. So...
